As Missionary Pastor of Grace Baptist Church

I would like to welcome you to our website!

My wife and I have been missionaries here in Tacloban for thirty-four years.

Grace Baptist Church is an Independent Baptist Church. We are not affiliated with any particular fellowship.

We have an outstanding Faith Promise giving program. This year our church has promised and is giving over $ 90,000.00 to missions here and around the world.

We are a soul-winning church. We have groups that go out every Thursday nights and on Saturdays for visitations and  about seventy to ninety people are involved in that program.

We are a totally self-supporting and a self-governing local church. We are unique in that we build all of our own buildings except for Camp Victory.

We are a ministry for the entire family. We have an academy from Kindergarten through High School and also a Bible College and Seminary (Grace Baptist Bible College) training young men and women for the minsitry. We have eleven foreign missionaries directly out of our work here in Tacloban. The Lord has blessed us with men and women that have completed our college course and are serving the Lord in various churches here and around the world.

We are a church that practices discipline on a consistent basis. We want to be obedient to the commands of our Lord. Our membership is made up of active members that know their responsibilities to Our Lord. Our attendance is always more than our active membership role. We want also for those that go wayward to be reconciled to the Lord.

We are a church that still uses the Authorized King James Bible as our source of truth, strength and guidance and we are  preparing for the coming of our Lord.

We are a church that still keeps our music program in what is called by many a conservative mode. We have those in our church who write and compose songs and we have around twenty two members in our orchestra that plays for each of our services every week. We have great music in our church but understand that it is not the primary ministry. We believe that the preaching of God's Word is primary in all of our services.

We have Sunday School classes for every age group. We have active programs going on for the entire family for growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord.

We have a saying around here, " if you love the Bible, you will love Grace Baptist Church".

If you are ever in our area, I trust that you will stop by and visit us!

And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.

And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?

Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.

But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.

And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.
